Ceredigion Coast Path Self-Guided Walking Holidays

The Ceredigion Coast Path stretches from Cardigan to Ynys-las. The walk is rich in wild, rugged cliff top views and is backed by the majestic mountains of Snowdonia. The coastal region offers sweeping sandy beaches, rock pools, waterfalls and craggy cliffs. The shoreline is dotted with picturesque villages, Iron Age hillforts, castles, churches and ancient standing stones. The wildlife on the Ceredigion coast is abundant and includes bottlenose dolphins, grey seals and basking sharks. Birdlife is also plentiful with herring gulls, lesser black-backed gulls, oystercatchers, ringed plovers, redshank, guillemot, razorbill, kittiwakes, fulmars, shags and cormorants regularly being spotted off the coast. In the spring and summer, butterflies and wild flowers give the cliff path a colourful glow.
